Yoga can help prevent and manage chronic diseases. The way and the approach of yoga in the treatment of diseases is different than today’s modern lifestyle. Through yoga we measure the physical health diseases through mental health. Yoga is a way of life and its very important in today’s world.

*    In ancient times yoga was not considered as a therapy but it was considered as a practice that originated in ancient India and has its roots in spirituality, religion, and philosophy.Yoga evolved into a complex system of physical, mental, and spiritual practices.Yoga techniques like pranayama and dhyana can help boost the immune response and prevent chronic diseases.

*    Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science that focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is the art and science of healthy living. The importance in Yoga is on education than on treatment. Health and physical strength are just as much as a matter of mind as of the body.

*    As per Yogic scriptures, the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of universal consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body. Loss of a balanced state of mind is really the origin of many disease processes.
